Southern Africa
Want a more active safari that includes walking or canoeing? Then this is the destination for you! Combine the wildness of the African bush with the luxury of some of the most exotic lodges and you have Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa. See the “Smoke that Thunders” Victoria Falls and the incredible elephant herds of Chobe National Park or Hwange National Park. Mokoro through the unique and peaceful Okavango Delta. Climb a dune in Sossusvlei Namibia, marvel at the birdlife on the coast and enjoy watching oryx, kudu and black rhino at the water holes in Etosha National Park. Our all time favorite…want to join us floating down the Zambezi River in a comfortable canoe listening to the hippo’s grunt and the carmine bee-eaters chirp. This is a small sampling of the experiences you can have in Southern Africa.
India
India is our most recent destination perfect for nature and culture lovers alike. The parks are rich with natural history giving you great diversity from the crowded city streets. Tigers are what we are searching for but often Leopard, Sambar Deer, Langur Monkeys and a host of birdlife will keep you photographing! After your game drive, a cool drink will be waiting followed by a scrumptious meal! In the cities, immerse yourself in the history of kings and colonies visiting the many forts, temples and of course the magnificent Taj Mahal.
South America
Spend time exploring the ecosystem and wildlife of the Amazon rainforest. Check out the jungles of Ecuador walking, canoeing and relaxing in beautifully appointed lodges. See amazing birdlife, unusual insects and hopefully, the illusive ocelot. Then island-hop on a luxury boat for exploring time in the Galapagos Islands. Snorkel with sea lions, walk with blue-footed boobies and sit amongst the marine iguanas sunning themselves on lave rock. Add on beautiful Machu Picchu in Peru for an amazing adventure…… all of this and more!
